    The Role

    We're seeking a passionate Senior Accountant who will play a pivotal role in every aspect of our financial operations, making a significant impact on our business decisions. You will be responsible for closing the accounting books, analyzing trends, ensuring data integrity, managing the company's financial needs for efficient scaling, and more. We are looking for an individual who is passionate, detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders. Given our startup status, you will also be instrumental in establishing various processes and reporting systems from the ground up.

    What You'll Be Doing

    • Independently prepare and close monthly financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP
    • Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
    • Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
    • Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
    • Assist with the capital planning, cash management, budgeting and forecasting process.
    • Develop financial models and ad hoc analysis to support strategic decisions.
    • Manage the vendor contract database to ensure accuracy and validity and work alongside business units to update accordingly.
    • Produces payroll by initiating computer processing; printing checks, verifying finished product.
    • Frequently interface with Senior Management as well as other departments.

    What You'll Need

    • 3+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience. General ledger accounting experience is required.
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • Organized and able to efficiently prioritize, multi-task, and adapt in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment; ability to meet deadlines
    • Detail-oriented, but capable of seeing the big picture
    • Experience with Quickbooks
    • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint; Experience in SQL and Looker is a plus
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
