- Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline projects or large, routine project
- Independently coordinate work of professional staff and balance team throughout entire project's development
- Establish client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meeting
- Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for compliance
- Conduct work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staff
- Coordinate workload through entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on schedule
- Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to schedule
- Work with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for project reviews and with company management as needed
- Perform other duties as needed
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Minimum of 10 years related experience, which must include 5 years of project management experience
- Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skill
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
- 20 years progressive working experience and expertise in the inspection and administration of highway transportation projects OR licensed PE in the state of South Carolina (or the ability to obtain a SC PE within 6 months) with progressive experience and expertise as mentioned
- PMP certification
- Local candidates are preferred
