    Minimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required.


    We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Pharmacist to join our team in El Paso, TX This position offers the opportunity to work in both retail and long term care pharmacy settings, providing a range of pharmaceutical services to our community.

    The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, possess a TX Pharmacy License, and have experience in both retail and long term care pharmacy environments.

    Setting:
    Retail/Long Term Care

    Current Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
    • Counsel patients on the proper use of medications, including dosage instructions, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
    • Communicate with healthcare providers regarding patient care issues.
    • Maintain patient records and profiles, including medication histories.
    • Oversee the work of pharmacy technicians and support staff.
    • Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws governing the dispensing of controlled substances and other medications.
    • Participate in immunization programs and other public health initiatives as needed.
    • Manage inventory and order medications and supplies as needed.
    • Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering questions and resolving issues promptly and courteously.
    • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care outcomes.

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
    • TX Pharmacy License.
    • Retail/Long Term Care experience (Ideal).
