The


ICU RN

will be responsible for the following duties:

• Perform and oversee care of patients with critical illness or injury utilizing the nursing process
• Possess strong assessment and clinical skills to provide care for patients with a multitude of disorders to include: Heart Failure, Respiratory distress, Sepsis, Multisystem Organ Failure, Neurosurgical Procedures, Invasive Cardiac Procedures, Trauma, MI, Strokes and other patients meeting ICU admissions criteria
• Serve as the primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well coordinated patient care
• Excel at interpersonal, communication, leadership, time management, critical thinking and decision making

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required, BSN preferred
• An active RN license in KS/compact
• Minimum 6 months – 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Open to candidates with strong background in long term care/skilled nursing looking to transition into acute care
