    Description
    ThePosition:

    We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to identify, seek out, and build relationships with new customers that drive referral volume and revenue to The Greenwich Tent Company (GTC). The Business Development Manager will be a key representative of our brand in the market and a trusted partner to external and internal stakeholders.

    Your Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Identify new or underserved customers across industries, with a goal of increasing the total serviceable market for GTC.
    • Systematically contact and meet with potential clients to establish new business relationships.
    • Proactively engage with clients to understand their unique needs and present creative solutions to address those needs.
    • Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities in Hubspot.
    • Research and analyze the latest industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities and create new opportunities to expand business.
    • Collaborate with our sales team to ensure requirements are met, including sales quotas and profitability goals.
    • Attend networking events in the tent and event sector to represent and promote GTC.
    • Maintain assigned contact lists and detailed records in Hubspot.

    Qualifications:
    • 3-5 years of business development experience (experience in the luxury market is a plus).
    • A high-energy and influential demeanor.
    • Enthusiasm for GTC and its growth potential.
    • Superb customer service skills and follow-through.
    • Proven experience in cultivating lasting and productive business relationships that contribute to long-term success and revenue generation.
    • Strong, clear verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent negotiation skills.
    • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office products and CRM systems (Hubspot experience preferred but not necessary).
