- Perform necessary duties and tasks associated with emergency response of various environmental clean-up situations. These include but are not limited to hazardous and non-hazardous materials, site remediation, equipment decontamination along with non-emergency clean-up.
- Perform using high pressure water blasting equipment to clean heavy industrial equipment such as pipes, boilers, tanks, heat exchangers, etc.
- Assisting in loading of equipment such as hoses, chemicals, and other equipment supplies that the project needs.
- Operate equipment by energizing the pumping equipment and or any specialized hydro-blasting and or chemical cleaning equipment. Includes operation of vacuum trucks and cutting equipment.
- Perform physical functions in all types of weather conditions.
- Works in atmospheres of low clearance, confined spaces and heights.
- Expected to perform strenuous physical labor, move and unload, utilize hand and power tools, and pressure washers.

- Able to coherently report findings to the chain of command and follow instructions.
- Operate pick-ups and small equipment.
- Learns and complies with company policies and procedures and safety rules.
- Learned hazardous materials handling and precautions.
- Maintains required equipment service records.

- Participate in environmental operations and regulatory compliance.

COMPANY REQUIRED TRAINING:
OSHA , Safety Rules, Policy and Practices, Final Rule under subpart H of the Code of Federal Register - protection requirement for workers engaged in hazardous waste operations, including emergency response to hazardous substance incidents involving the handling, processing, and transporting of hazardous substances.
Educational Requirements :High School graduate or equivalent
Required Certification/Licensure:
Valid driver's license required; Class A Commercial Driver's license preferred.
Experience with level D, C, & B PPE preferred.
40-Hour HAZWOPER and Confined Space training, preferred.
Experience Requirements: Experience working in construction, electrical, landscaping, farming, or other outdoor occupations is preferred.
Knowledge/ Skills: (qualify the level of skill required for this role: entry, intermediate, advanced)This intermediate-level position requires working on a team in diverse situations and understanding and following instructions. Must be able to use or learn to use tools and equipment, such as but not limited to the following: pulleys, vises, hand and power tools, mechanic rollers, acetylene tanks, wooden blocks, steel collars/shackles, steel hooks, welding equipment, grinders, hydraulic jacks, steel chains and cable, portable lights, "come along," tractors, forklifts, flatbed truck, pickup truck, wheelbarrow, pumps, and generators.
Physical Demands:
Periods of extended driving and intense physical labor in extreme conditions caused by weather, terrain, and the hazards of working environmental emergencies.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:
1. Hard Hats
2. Safety Glasses
3. Steel-Toed Boots
4. Other safety equipment and personal protective equipment, including respirators as may be warranted by situations and hazardous materials handling
5. Gloves, as needed
6. Hearing protection, when necessary
VISION DEMANDS DOT REQUIREMENTS: 20/40 Binocular vision in each eye (corrected or uncorrected), color discrimination required.
HEARING DEMANDS DOT REQUIREMENTS: Forced whisper at five feet or average hearing loss above 40 decibels at 500 Hz, 1000 Hz, and 2000 Hz with or without a hearing aid.
CARDIO-VASCULAR DEMANDS: Conditioning for medium physical demand level. This job is considered manual labor. Approximate energy requirements are 8-9 METS.
