With events like NFL Thursday Night Football and the Cricket World Cup and IPL Finals, the past year has seen live streaming audiences routinely reach tens of millions of concurrent viewers. Combined with increasing bitrates for 4K/8K/AR, we are approaching an inflection point for network strain from live streaming. TreeDN is an innovative new content delivery architecture designed to solve this scaling challenge of live streaming to mass audiences and pave the way for newer, more immersive content that is not economically viable with content delivery approaches typically in use today. The focus of this internship is to develop a mobile app that will allow Internet users to send and receive live video streams that leverage a TreeDN infrastructure. Successful development of this app may also include the opportunity to deliver a talk at an industry forum to describe the implementation.

Minimum Salary: $47,520.00
Maximum Salary:$72,864.00
The pay range for this position is expected to be between $47,520.00 and $72,864.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
