    As an Accounting Clerk, you will

  • Communicate with guests to resolve billing concerns, pull outlet tickets, and make appropriate adjustments when necessary.
  • Assigned to General Cashier duties, sole access of house safe and issuance of cashier banks.
  • Perform monthly bank count audits.
  • Prepare Daily Deposits and report any overages and shortages, track response for corrections.
  • Daily review of banquet checks/postings to ensure all billing is complete and accurate.
  • Review all accounts receivable activity and submit invoicing timely to clients.
  • Record payments to advance deposits, general ledger or City ledger.
  • Maintain communication log activity for all city ledger accounts until balance paid in full.
  • Communicates daily with sales team to activity monitor and ensure all required group/event deposits collected with guidelines of SOP.
  • Respond to all chargeback issues.
  • Daily reconciliations of Sertifi CC/ACH payment activity.
  • Reports directly to Director of Finance.

    • Job Requirements:

  • Accounts Receivable experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Hilton OnQ PMS and Micros POS preferred
  • Hotel experience preferred
  • Be self-motivated and have great attention to detail
  • Have exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office to include Excel

    • Fundamentals

    High school education or equivalent experience is required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are expected. This position requires the ability to compile facts and figures. You will regularly use a computer, various software and a calculator. You must be able to communicate effectively and courteously over the telephone and in person.
