    Internal Medicine: Endocrinology

    The University of Kansas Health System, Division of Endocrinology, has a faculty position opening for an Endocrinologist, who will join the team and support the departmental mission of delivering the highest quality of care, as well as satisfying teaching, research, and academic responsibilities at the region's quaternary referral center.

    About the position:

    • Provide patient care in ambulatory clinic, inpatient consults and on-call services. Model best practices for diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and conditions. Complete appropriate documentation of patient encounters for medical follow-up and timely billing.
    • Instruct medical students, residents, and fellows in clinical and classroom settings. Coach and guide learners appropriate to their educations level. Evaluate learner's progress.
    • Contribute to various research activities of the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Genetics. Research could include trials or grant funded studies.
    • Participate in Division, Department, and School faculty activities as allowed by schedule constraints.
    • The selected individual will join the Department at the Assistant Professor level.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Fellowship-trained and board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology.
    • Board certified in Internal Medicine.
    • Eligible for licensure in Kansas.
