- Provide patient care in ambulatory clinic, inpatient consults and on-call services. Model best practices for diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and conditions. Complete appropriate documentation of patient encounters for medical follow-up and timely billing.
- Instruct medical students, residents, and fellows in clinical and classroom settings. Coach and guide learners appropriate to their educations level. Evaluate learner's progress.
- Contribute to various research activities of the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Genetics. Research could include trials or grant funded studies.
- Participate in Division, Department, and School faculty activities as allowed by schedule constraints.
- The selected individual will join the Department at the Assistant Professor level.
- Fellowship-trained and board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology.
- Board certified in Internal Medicine.
- Eligible for licensure in Kansas.
