    The System and Integration Engineer for Battery Management Systems will be responsible for the system engineering development and integration validation of BMS hardware and software for our state-of-the-art energy storage system across different project platform.

    The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to collect and create detailed requirements, performance system engineering analysis, development test framework, integration plan and perform the validation testings including both HIL and HV integration.

    BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or other related fields5+ years of experience in Battery Management System system engineering, integration, testing, validation in aviation or safety critical applicationsStrong knowledge of battery technologies, BMS architectures, and battery testing standards.

    Experience in specifying, design, integrating, commissioning high voltage and HIL testinginfrastructure for hardware and software verification and validation processProficiency in data acquisition systems, test equipment, and instrumentation.

    Experience with programming and scripting languages, such as Python, MATLAB, or C/C++.Familiarity with communication protocols, such as SPI, CAN, or EthernetStrong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

    Strong communication and collaboration abilitiesResponsibilitiesWork with the multidisciplinary engineers to define the software and hardware requirements for the BMSDesign and implement the BMS integration and validation framework including HIL, High Voltage bench, BMS integrated pack, etcDevelop and implement BMS high level and low level test plan, procedure.

    Conduct functional, performance characterization, testing of BMS components, software, algorithm to ensure compliance with industry standard and customer requirementsAnalyze test data and generate integration report, providing insights on system performance, reliability and areas of improvementTest automation and development of test script required for integration testResponsible for requirement, test matrix, test traceability between development and validation.
