Facility Coordinator
Seasonal Event Center & Bed and Breakfast
We are seeking a seasoned Facility Coordinator to join our established Event Center, celebrating 30 years of hosting exceptional weddings and special events.
The Event Center operates seasonally (approximately six months per year), during which weddings and celebrations are hosted onsite. During the off-season, efforts focus on marketing, securing future bookings, and supporting operations at our nearby year-round Bed and Breakfast.
Primary Responsibilities
Sales & Client Relations
- Manage inquiries and conduct professional facility tours
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and payment schedules
- Oversee billing and documentation
- Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients
Event Facility Coordination
- Collaborate with clients on venue logistics and timelines
- Coordinate vendor access and event flow at the facility
- Supervise setup and breakdown of all venue equipment
- Ensure proper preparation of the Center's tables, chairs, linens, china, silverware, and glassware
Operations & Team Leadership
- Supervise and schedule a small event staff
- Maintain high standards of presentation and organization of the beautiful grounds, tent, patios and indoor spaces.
- Ensure compliance with venue policies and procedures
- have some fun with the renters and the staff... afterall it is a party
While we do not provide wedding planning services, our venue has hosted over 1,000 weddings and knows what works well and maintains an extensive vendor referral list for clients.
This position can be full-time with additional hours and responsibilities at our Bed and Breakfast assisting with small events there, and also with lodging bookings. Housing is also an option for the right candidate.
