    Description

    Day to Day Responsibilities:

    • Investigates alerts and follow established procedures to remediate conditions that do not follow approved policies and guidelines.
    • Performs replacement of field swappable components of networking equipment
    • Maintains inventory of WAN, Cloud and remote site networking equipment and accessories
    • Provides technical assistance and support for incoming WAN, Cloud and remote site networking queries and issues
    • Works with vendors to coordinate support and warranty services
    • Documents network engineering policies, procedures, and results of tests
    • Maintains and configures layer 2 networking equipment to primarily support WAN, Cloud, remote site, and firewall services
    • Maintains and configures layer 3 networking equipment to primarily support WAN, Cloud, remote site, and firewall services
    • Installs and manages networking management platforms to primarily support WAN, Cloud, remote site, and firewall services
    • Maintains system documentation
