    Job Summary:

    The Registered Professional Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care in the Medical/Surgical Cardiac Hospitalist setting. With a focus on progress toward discharge, this nurse assesses, coordinates, and implements the needs of assigned patients throughout their episode of care.

    Salary Range: $72,072.00 - $74,229.26

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
    • Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests.
    • Evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions.
    • Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
    • Direct and guide ancillary personnel to maintain standards of professional nursing.
