Job summary
We are seeking a Network Engineer and Virtualization Engineer to perform daily administration of network components including configuration, patching, upgrades, monitoring and performance tuning. The successful candidate will have experience with LAN/WAN routing switching and network security as well as Palo Alto firewalls Cisco routers Nexus Catalyst switches TCP/IP BGP OSPF VLANs MPLS routing/switching protocols Ansible Terraform Python PowerShell DoD STIGs IAVM Container platforms Kubernetes CNI GitOps tools VMware ESXi vSAN NSX vCloud Foundation ARIA Automation SDDC.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily administration of network components including configuration patching upgrades monitoring and performance tuning.
- Develop deploy and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code for VMware suite including administration patch upgrade capacity management life cycle sustainment.
