- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited veterinary college
- Active California Veterinary License
- Experience with small animal primary care services, diagnostic procedures, and surgical procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with AAHA standards and compliance
- Experience dental care, is a plus
