    Description

    Duties:

    day-to-day coaching of student athletes and individual skill instruction; recruiting athletic and academically sound, competitive student-athletes that can compete on the NCAA Division II level; establish a strong working relationship with the University and surrounding community; follow NCAA, Great American Conference and University rules and regulations; assist with pre-meet preparations to include travel arrangements and player accommodations; assist in community and public relations, promotion of teams within the community, oversight of local practice facilities as well as serving as a positive role model for student-athletes and other duties as assigned.



    Qualifications:

    bachelor's degree in related field; evidence of successful experience in coaching; record of success in collegiate and/or interscholastic track coaching/competing; effective communication, excellent written and oral communication skills with a strong attention to detail; interpersonal skills and commitment to total success of students.
