    Here you'll interact daily with team members during the problem resolution process and will partner with other key stakeholders to support our internal customers and their responsibilities.

    How will you make a difference? As a member of the Global Operations Equipment group, you will be responsible for ideation, design, implementation of critical strategic initiatives.

    We have three production facilities located here in Fort Worth. You will help bring a strong focus to continuously improving both our team and our processes.

    What do we want to know about you? The Lead Materials Planning & Execution Specialist will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes within the Texas Mining organization.

    In this role, you will utilize your experience or expertise related to data mining, Oracle ERP system, and materials to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have ability to effect short-term and long-term business goals.

    EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or an Associate's Degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a production planning, production control, sourcing or configuration control role)Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning, production control, sourcing, or configuration controlAbility to identify and implement process improvements and best practicesAbility to coordinate multiple priorities at one timeAbility to develop, lead, and challenge a team of analytical material expertsStrong knowledge of Oracle ERP systemKnowledge of shop operations, facilitations, production control, manufacturing or materials functionsFamiliar with production control systems and routinesStrong analytical / problem solving skillsSelf-starter and takes the initiative to identify and implement new ideasDemonstrated oral and written communication skillsExperience with PowerBI, Excel, Access, or other data analytic toolsExperience with Web ADI/Data LoaderWhat will your typical day look like? Provide accurate inventory forecast and walk variances/create ad hoc reports as needed and report to OpEx/Material ExecutivesDrive inventory reduction initiatives to improve inventory turnsDevelop and implement initiatives to reduce excess/zero demand inventory (EZDI), non-conforming inventory, etc.

    Develop and implement measures to improve inventory accuracy, lead annual physical inventoryDevelop and implement inventory strategies to address customer order variation and supply chain disruptionsSet and maintain Oracle item attributes per corporate and site level material strategiesCreate and publish weekly pegging report for MTA materials shortage trackingAnalyze system data on a set rhythm to troubleshoot planning disruptions or inaccuraciesMaintain release schedule for SISCO materialWork closely with configuration and control/cut-in specialist to ensuring planning accuracyAct as TXO point of contact for VMI material and chemical shortage trackingComplete monthly BULK sub-inventory analysis and write offDevelop metrics and tools for monitoring TXO materials health/system integrity levelProvide leadership to other process improvementActively participate in a Teaming driven cultureAdditional responsibilities/tasks as requiredWhat about the physical demands of the job?Exposure to shop floor requires wearing PPEWalking, climbing, stooping, bending, lifting is all part of the hands on learning processYou may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
