    Job Description

    As a CT Technologist at UnityPoint Health, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and diagnostic imaging services. This position requires the ability to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as participate in call rotations.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Operate and maintain diagnostic CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies
    • Assist radiologists with direct patient care under general supervision
    • Adjust equipment settings and procedures to meet national standards for dose reduction

    Requirements

    • Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited hospital program
    • Registered Technologist certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
    • CT Certification or certification within 18 months of hire
    • Current license as a Radiographer in the state of Wisconsin
    • CPR certification or eligibility to complete within three months of hire
    • Knowledge of medical imaging department operations, patient care, and communication skills
    • Competence in providing care and service to patients of all ages

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 1 year of experience in CT preferred
    • Knowledge of EPIC, RIS, and PACS systems
