    Senior Systems Engineer - Automotive Charging

    The ideal Senior Systems Engineer willl specialize in the development of cutting-edge charging solutions for sustainable mobility applications. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, refining, and implementing innovative charging systems that support the growth of eco-friendly transportation infrastructures.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Design and Innovation:

    Spearhead the design process for sustainable mobility charging systems, considering various technical parameters such as power needs, safety protocols, and portability.

    Generate detailed specifications and blueprints for electrical components, including chargers, batteries, inverters, and control mechanisms.

    Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to seamlessly integrate hardware and software elements into cohesive charging solutions.

    2. Testing and Optimization:

    Conduct rigorous testing and validation exercises to ensure compliance with industry regulations and performance benchmarks.

    Analyze test outcomes, identify enhancement opportunities, and iterate on designs to maximize efficiency, reliability, and safety standards.

    3. Integration and Collaboration:

    Forge strong partnerships with automotive manufacturers, energy providers, and infrastructure stakeholders to integrate charging systems into existing ecosystems.

    Develop robust communication protocols and interfaces to facilitate seamless interaction between charging infrastructure, vehicles, and grid systems.

    4. Project Oversight:

    Lead project management activities, overseeing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of charging solutions.

    Coordinate procurement activities with suppliers, contractors, and external collaborators to acquire necessary components and services.

    5. Research and Development:

    Stay abreast of advancements in sustainable mobility, renewable energy technologies, and charging infrastructures to drive continuous innovation.

    Actively participate in research initiatives, industry forums, and knowledge-sharing platforms to contribute to the evolution of eco-friendly transportation solutions.

    Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

    Minimum of ten years of relevant experience in the field.

    In-depth knowledge of sustainable mobility technologies, power electronics, and battery systems.

    Proficiency in CAD software for circuit design and simulation (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD).

    Experience with embedded systems programming and real-time operating systems (RTOS).

    Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN bus, Modbus, and Ethernet.

    Understanding of regulatory standards and safety protocols for sustainable mobility charging systems (e.g., SAE J1772, ISO 15118, UL 2202).

    Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

    Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities within cross-functional teams.

    Demonstrated project management expertise, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Project Desktop, Jira, and Jama.
