As a Quality Specialist at METI, you will play a pivotal role in seamlessly integrating quality management principles with operational support functions
This dynamic position requires a blend of expertise as a Quality Specialist, Business Development Operations Support, and Corporate Support Coordinator
The successful candidate will contribute to sustaining our AS9100 credentials, improving business processes, and ensuring the overall efficiency of company operations

Duties:

Quality Management:

• Lead and conduct audits on business management systems processes.
• Identify and implement best practices for continuous improvements and optimization.
• Engage in Root Cause and Corrective Action processes.
• Support and maintain the ISO9001:2015/AS9100D Quality Management System.
• Provide training and guidance on ISO 9001:2015/AS9100D standards.
• Perform quality reviews of documentation and operations processes for compliance

Operational Support:

• Oversee property management to ensure equipment availability and functionality.
• Monitor and manage office supplies and inventory levels.
• Utilize clearance expertise to assess and verify clearance statuses.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks, such as mail handling and document organization.
• Clearance Assessments: Utilize your experience with clearances to assist in assessing and verifying clearance statuses of employees and contractors as required

Collaboration and Training:

• Collaborate with different departments for effective communication and coordination.
• Lead and support internal audits, providing recommendations for improvements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field is preferred.
• Minimum practical understanding of quality management systems is required.
• 12 years of experience in ISO 9001:2015 standards is essential.
• Proficient in creating new documents as a competent writer.
• An active security clearance from a relevant government agency is required.
• Demonstrated understanding of property management, supply and inventory procedures, and clearance assessments is necessary.
• Ability to handle miscellaneous tasks and respond to changing priorities with a flexible and solution oriented approach.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, management, and individually are a must.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
