    Nursing Role Overview

    This LPN Nurse position at the Maury County Jail offers a meaningful impact in the lives of incarcerated individuals. As a correctional nurse, you will provide patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans, and work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines.

    • Deliver patient care and administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards & correctional regulations.
    • Follow through with established treatment plans and perform emergency intervention, physical assessment, and critical thinking.
