Fitter - Journeymen (Pipe, Structural, Tube, etc)

Riley Power group, LLC is a full-service maintenance and capital construction services company that operates nationwide on industrial projects. If you possess the skills to perform the following tasks, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Review specifications, drawings or instructions to understand output requirements
• Plan and sequence necessary actions for job completion
• Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping
• Select and position machines or load material for a job
• Determine and program batch size, machine speed, and temperature settings
• Monitor machine operation to adjust feed rates, maintain temperature, and identify issues
• Check output for consistency with specifications and discard defects
• Record approved and defective units or final products
• Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages

Requirements

We are seeking individuals with:

• Three years of experience in a related field
• Possession of precision tools such as calipers for accurate measurements
• Knowledge of metal properties and other materials
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Mastery of mathematics and mechanics principles
• Respect for safety procedures and protocols

Additional Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Willingness to travel if necessary
• Satisfactory results of all pre-employment screening and/or client badging requirements
