Automotive Climate Controls Engineer


Summary:

As a CAB Climate System Tuning Engineer at Netgroup Engineering, you will take the lead in testing and tuning activities for parameter settings affecting climate performance and comfort in complete vehicle (truck) applications.

This role will be with one of our automotive partners in the heavy trucking industry. These activities involve collaboration with cross-functional teams, including tuning engineers, test engineers, feature leaders, and software developers. Testing and tuning primarily occur on the road, in wind tunnels, or in climate chambers. In this role, you represent the climate team in the global agile software development process.

What You Will Be Doing:

Lead and participate in testing and tuning activities for parameter settings impacting climate performance and comfort in complete vehicle (truck) applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tuning engineers, test engineers, feature leaders, and software developers.

Conduct testing and tuning activities on the road, in wind tunnels, and in climate chambers.

Represent the climate team in the global agile software development process.

Address climate system-related quality issues through root cause analysis for trucks in the field.

Drive changes, propose solutions, and contribute to tuning for climate software.


Who You Are:
You have practical experience in tuning and testing activities related to climate systems in heavy-duty vehicles.

Strong collaboration skills, working effectively with diverse teams of engineers and developers.

Familiarity with global agile software development processes.

Proactive in addressing climate system-related quality issues, proposing effective solutions.

Demonstrated ability to drive changes and improvements in climate software.

Compensation:
$85,000 - $96,000 + DOE
