ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Non-rotating 40 hour work week, Monday - Thursday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Must be available to work additional hours as needed.
Responsibilities
Work requires functioning as a lead worker performing essentially the same work as those directed and provide guidance by instructing and training personnel on work quality.
Responsible for safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment by completing pre-trip and post trip inspection forms daily on each piece of equipment.
Coordinate with Senior Street Forman for equipment repairs.Operates equipment such as; flatbed truck, paver box, dump trucks, gradall excavator, front end loader and steel wheel/pneumatic roller as needed in their effort to meet the yearly goal of pavement repair and maintenance; and pothole patching within 5 days of notice.
Complete daily reports, administrative paperwork and Maximo work orders and other duties as assigned for the benefit of the department.
QualificationsPosition requires a High School Diploma or GED with minimum of two (2) year of experience. Must be able obtain a GED within one year of hire.
Work requires the ability to read and understand written instructions to understand simple processes and the routine operation of machines.
A valid Class B commercial driver's license with air brake endorsement is required.Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas Class B commercial driver's license within 90 days of hire.
