- 12-Hour Tours: Day, Night (includes 12-hour short shifts of 8 hours)
- Recent experience within the past 3 years is mandatory.
- Candidates with resumes showcasing over 3 years of experience or previous VA work history may receive preference.
- Registered Nurses (RNs) play a crucial role in patient care, providing education on health conditions to patients and the public, collaborating with healthcare teams, and delivering direct patient care.
- We are seeking six (6) temporary full-time equivalent (FTE) Critical Care Registered Nurses (RNs) to enhance staffing in areas like the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Acute Care, and Oncology.
- Specific needs: 2 RNs for ICU, 2 RNs for Acute Care, and 2 RNs for Oncology.
- Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted state Registered Nurse license.
- Up-to-date completion of all required continuing education courses for certifications.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are essential.
- Documentation of certifications may be requested by the VA COR.
- Registered Nurses will provide on-site nursing services in different areas of the Medical Center for varying durations based on qualifications.
- Work schedule may involve weekends, holidays, and shifts spanning 24 hours as needed.
- Flexibility to work 8-hour and 12-hour tours is required to meet staffing needs.
