Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia is hiring a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to drive nursing practice outcomes for the team The Clinical Nurse Specialist demonstrates advanced and specialized clinical knowledge and skills to facilitate the provision of patient/family-focused care to promote health and/or well-being improve quality of life; drive practice changes throughout the organization and ensure use of evidence-based care to improve patient outcomes This individual provides expertise and support either directly or indirectly by influencing patients/families nurses/nursing practice organization/systems through direct care leadership coaching research ethical decision making collaboration consultationResponsibilities
