    Frontier Construction Company has distinguished itself by delivering projects as specified, on time and on budget. We are looking to add to our team of Construction/Concrete Laborers for work on concrete projects, along with various other construction, mechanical and industrial projects in the Pittsburgh area.

    You will:
    • Model and promote good safety practices. Ensure safety is never compromised.
    • Load and unload trucks, tools, and materials as needed.
    • Set the forms in which concrete is poured to create walkways, walls, pillars and other structures. Use rebar or wire mesh to reinforce the material.
    • Use a variety of tools, including shovels, rakes, trowels, jack hammers, saws, drills, grinders, chipping guns, concrete vibrators, to perform work tasks.
    • Monitor, inspect and maintain equipment. Identify and address any problems or defects.
    • Keep worksite clean and organized free from unnecessary hazards.
    • Follow all policies and procedures, with strict attention to company and client standards.
    • Secure work site, equipment, and materials at the end of each shift to ensure public safety and safety of equipment and materials.
    Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma or GED required. Demonstrated related experience may be substituted for preferred education.
    • Have a valid driver's license.
    • Must pass drug screening and criminal background check.
    Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
    • Work schedule is Monday - Friday with Saturdays as required.
    • Indoor and outdoor work in all types of weather. Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, mists, odors and vibrations. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Exert 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or more than 30 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Climb, kneel, stand, walk crouch, stoop, reach, pull, push and other similar tasks requiring physical activity.
    • Must be able to see, hear, talk and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity;
