    Position: Operations Coordinator

    Location: Onsite in downtown Pittsburgh, PA

    Duration: Long-term contract

    Openings: 2 openings

    Target Start Date: 1st opening - Early June; 2nd opening - Early July

    Pay rate: $35/hr.

    Overview:

    Our client is seeking an operations coordinator to join their team. This role is very much the person people come to - face of operations, you will be the one doing the new hire orientation, customer service is so important - presentation so important - communication so important – Success in this position comes from people that have previously worked in the hospitality industry (Hotel industry) – "customer is always right" - on top mentality

    Responsibilities:

    • Onboarding new hires (conducting tours, assisting with orientation (site welcome) introduction, and offboarding hires
    • Planning internship-related tasks – planning happy hours, welcome ceremony, etc. – this will be helping alongside the Intern Experience Team when events are sponsored
    • Calendaring – ensuring people are added to proper workplace groups, distribution lists, and strong administrative skills – many calendar invitations are lab wide so it is important to pay attention to detail
    • Advertising and facilitating all events for Meta's Pittsburgh Reality Lab – executioner
    • Able to create verbiage around a specific audience via email and posters (Canva)

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience as an Operations Coordinator, working in a fast-paced operations environment
    • Background working with cross-functional stakeholders ("XFN"), or line-level + senior project owners across multiple lines of business
    • Experience with tools including Google Suite, Cornerstone, etc.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability keep up in a fast-paced dynamic environment

    Process:

    Internal Interview with Apex; 30 minute onsite meet and greet with the team, offers to be made mid-late next week.
