    RN Position Job Notes:

    Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

    RN - Med Surg

    Job Details:


    • Work night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

    • 13-week assignment with guaranteed 36 or 48 hours weekly

    • Weekend hours required every other weekend as needed by facility

    • No call requirements

    • 1 year Med Surg inpatient experience required

    • Current RN license required (must meet Missouri licensure eligibility or currently licensed in Missouri)

    • BLS from AHA required, ACLS from AHA preferred

    • Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed

    • Work on 60-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:5/6

    • Utilize equipment including bladder scanner, vein finder, IV pumps, and wound vacs

    • Work with EPIC electronic medical records system

    • Black scrub color required

    • Care for medical patients post trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities

    • Night shift orientation occurs on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation

    • Must demonstrate teamwork, dependability, and flexibility

    • Physical demands include standing/walking most of shift, lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance, and high risk exposure to blood and body fluids

    • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1-April 1
