    Description


    The primary responsibility is to keep all YMS information accurate and up to date. Attention to detail and ability to multitask/focus is critical. Must be able to work a schedule performing eight plus hours per day which could include overtime, weekends, and holidays when required. Prior experience with 3PL, Retail Distribution, and Reserve Logistics/E-commerce experience is a plus.

    Main Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Utilize Microsoft Teams and/or radio communication to coordinate trailer moves with yard drivers and Inbound/Outbound dock teams.
    2. Ensure accurate and real-time updates in the Yard Management System (YMS).
    3. Collaborate with Inbound/Outbound dock teams to facilitate First In, First Out (FIFO) processes.
    4. Provide support for Trailer Dock Release (TDR) operations, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions.
    5. Report any discrepancies in the YMS or yard to the YMS Supervisor or Coordinator.
    6. Perform additional assigned tasks or provide support as needed, including cross-training in other YMS roles, reassignment to different positions, and performing yard/dock cleanup.
    Requirements
    1. Minimum six months experience in computer usage.
    2. Proficiency in reading and speaking English.
    3. Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is preferred.
    4. High school diploma or GED preferred; relevant prior experience is advantageous.
    5. Ability to comprehend simple instructions.
    6. Proficiency in multitasking and working efficiently.
    7. Physical capability to bend, stoop, stand, walk, reach, and climb for prolonged periods.
    8. Capacity to work effectively with minimal supervision.
