    Seeking energetic, talented Certified Surgical Technologist, who is also Certified in Sterile Processing to join our awesome surgical team If you are hard working with an excellent work ethic, we are the team for you Position is located in Eatontown, NJ in our new, state-of-the-art ASC.     Responsibilities:
    • Prepare and organize operating room equipment, instruments and supplies as required for ophthalmic surgical cases
    • Assist and anticipate surgeon and patient needs during procedure
    • Set up and maintain sterile field for procedure
    • Follow all relevant safety and sanitation guidelines
    • Participate in orientation and education of all ASC staff on an ongoing basis
    • Restocking supplies as needed
    • Inspect, replace, clean and sterilization of reusable surgical instruments
    • working knowledge and use of sterile wrapping and autoclave use

    Qualifications:
    • Current certification as Scrub Technologist
    • Current certification in Sterile Processing
    • 2 years experience in ophthalmic surgery
    • Current BLS certification
    • Continuing Education in field
    • Ability to interact professionally with patients and staff
    • Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in an ASC setting
    • Knowledge of regulatory and AAMI guidelines
