A reputable 150-provider multispecialty group based in Southeastern Massachusetts is currently looking to onboard a dedicated Nocturnist physician to join their dynamic team. This full-time role entails working 14 shifts a month, with the possibility of considering part-time candidates. The ideal candidate should possess essential ICU skills to handle "codes" and "rapid responses", perform intubations and line placements, as well as oversee ICU patients with support from the eICU team, who remotely monitor ICU patients during the night.

Responsibilities predominantly involve the admission and care of Emergency Room patients across various hospital units, including the telemetry unit and ICU. While the setting does not involve major trauma cases, our team can rely on Boston hospitals for transferring complex patients requiring specialized care. With an array of specialists within reach, collaborative patient care is at the core of our practice.

During the 12-hour night shifts (7 pm - 7 am), the expectation is a minimum of 14 shifts monthly. Routine floor calls are managed remotely by a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant between 10 pm and 7 am. We prioritize patient satisfaction and foster a strong sense of teamwork among our staff. As a physician-owned and operated group, we leverage advanced technologies such as the app- and web-based charge-capture and billing system (IngeniousMed) for efficient Hospitalist operations. The hospital utilizes Meditech, mandating Computer Physician Order Entry (CPOE) and real-time note creation.
