    Description
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (List at least 10) Oversee and guide Operations Systems Technicians in their day-to-day tasks. Work alongside Control System Engineers to ensure effective operation and communication of Control Systems. Evaluate, install, and maintain Operations Systems, ensuring their robustness and reliability. Implement and document Operations Systems improvement projects as guided by the Senior Engineer. Manage equipment specifications and replacement/spare equipment and parts on a routine basis. Ensure reliable and effective Operations Systems communication, particularly in the areas of maintenance, repair, and replacement. Assist in maintaining OS/OT network infrastructure, focusing on backups, maintenance, and preventive measures. Ensure the functionality of Operations Systems technologies, especially in terms of maintenance and troubleshooting. Maintain and improve Operations Systems data gathering systems, focusing on systems reliability, data accuracy, and real-time reporting.

    Uphold and reinforce the Safety Principles of ASARCO Ray Mine by always acting in a safety conscious manner and by encouraging all personnel to work safely.

    Coordinate safety issues with Ray and Hayden safety departments.

    Responsible for executing, supporting, and enforcing the Company's Environmental, Health and Safety program as required by OIS policy, directives, and principles.

    ADDITIONAL DUTIESMaintain a good working liaison with all ASARCO Ray personnel, including Mining Supervisors & Equipment Operators, by communicating and coordinating with Asarco IS/IT, Ray Operations staff, maintenance, production, and management.

    Uphold the Values of the Company by actively contributing to the ASARCO Ray Occupational Health Safety & Environment Policy, Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement Activities.

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES Understanding of mining & pre-stripping operations and Modular Mining Inc. DISPATCH Fleet Management System including hardware, software, and networking technologies. Basic knowledge of Unix and Microsoft servers/workstations, networking technologies, and two-way radio systems used for voice and data. Basic knowledge of database and reporting software including Microsoft SQL Server, PI, and Power BI. Ability to use test/calibrating equipment, hand tools, and power tools. Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams. Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on team collaboration.

    Ability to write routine reports and maintenance records, and to present information to and respond to questions from managers and vendors/contractors.

    Ability to use hand and power tools, and testing and calibrating equipment. Ability to read electrical prints, and plant, network, and equipment drawings. Ability to work with vendors and suppliers. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to solicit input from other employees.
    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Strong operational background in equipment operation in open-cut mining operations. 1 to 4 years of experience with DISPATCH Fleet Management systems. Supervisory experience desired.#J-18808-Ljbffr
