    Job Overview - Accounts Payable Manager

    Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to join their team.

    As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.

    This is a key role, and we are looking for a candidate who has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.


    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the accounts payable function, including processing invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments
    • Review and reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
    • Conduct regular account reconciliations, including general ledger reconciliation
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any payment or invoice issues
    • Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payments to employees
    • Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and improve efficiency
    • Provide guidance and support to the accounts payable team, including training and development opportunities
    Requirements


    • Minimum 5 years' experience in a manager or supervisory role
    • Strong knowledge of account reconciliation, general ledger reconciliation, and double-entry bookkeeping
    • Proficiency in payroll management and accounts payable processes
    • Familiarity with accounting software systems (such as Oracle)
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends or issues in financial data
    • Solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
    • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
