    Job Summary:

    OVERVIEW

    Responsible for managing various employee benefit plans such as health, dental, vision, life, employee assistance program, disability insurance, and leave of absences, in addition to other benefit functions. This role involves performing the essential duties listed below.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include:

    • Supporting the benefits and operations teams by overseeing department communication systems
    • Educating employees on benefit eligibility and coverage options
    • Maintaining benefit enrollments in the HRIS for accurate vendor information
    • Assisting employees with required documentation for life event changes
    • Conducting audits of employee benefit eligibility for ACA compliance
    • Participating in company Wellness Programs and Events
    • Preparing correspondence and documents, updating data systems, and handling benefit mail-outs
    • Assisting with invoice reconciliation and attending team meetings and training sessions

    MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    This role does not involve supervisory responsibilities.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of two years administrative experience or equivalent education and training
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting business documents and regulations
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with diverse instructions
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS
    • Knowledge of labor laws such as EEO/AAP, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA is a plus

    AVAILABILITY

    • Regular attendance and willingness to work 40 hours per week
    • Available to work weekends and holidays as needed

    TRAVEL

    • Occasional travel with overnight stays may be required
    • Must meet driver's license and auto insurance requirements

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position may require some physical demands to effectively carry out job responsibilities.

    • Tasks may include standing, walking, sitting, and lifting items up to 10 pounds
