- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the health system's mission, vision, and values.
- Oversee all aspects of digital marketing efforts, including website management, social media engagement, email marketing, and online advertising campaigns.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure favorable press coverage and manage crisis communications effectively.
- Lead internal communication initiatives to ensure alignment of messaging and transparency across all departments and levels of the organization.
- Drive external communication efforts, including press releases, newsletters, and public announcements, to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and maintain a consistent brand identity and messaging strategy across all communication channels.
- Analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities for innovation and growth in marketing and communication efforts.
- Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact and return on investment.
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives that drive engagement and support organizational goals.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics to track the effectiveness of marketing and communication efforts and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to keep the health system at the forefront of marketing and communication trends.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for the health system, representing the organization at events, conferences, and industry forums to promote visibility and foster partnerships.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in marketing and communication roles, with a focus on media relations, digital communication, and internal and external communication.
- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty.
- Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing techniques and platforms, including website management, social media, email, and online advertising.
- Strong media relations skills, with experience in cultivating relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets to secure positive press coverage and manage crisis communications effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging tailored to various audiences and channels.
- Experience in leading internal communication initiatives to foster transparency, alignment, and engagement among employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals and drive results.
- Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
