- Position patient correctly for radiological procedures
- Operate x-ray machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Review and evaluate images to determine quality and if they need to be redone
- Answer patient questions as they relate to the procedure
- Operate within radiological standards of care and maintain radiology equipment
- Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures
- Assist providers, paramedic, and physician staff with procedures and treatments
- Work both independently and with a team
- Ensure systems and processes are being followed and assure the clinical quality of the services performed
- Other duties as assigned
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology.
- Previous radiology experience is preferred.
- Current registry in radiology and valid 'permit to practice' with the State Department of Health.
- Must possess the technical skills associated with the tasks and functions delineated under specific duties. Has the ability to communicate and work effectively with others. Must be willing to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Required to complete all annual competency training and maintain license and/or certification.
