    P1 Service, LLC, is seeking a Billing Specialist for our Lenexa, KS office.

    Summary and Nature of the Work

    • The individual in this position assists the Project Managers and Controller in preparing customer billings and will also perform various accounting functions.
    • The individual indirectly contributes to the success of the company by participating in the financial management of the company.

    Essential Duties

    The individual's essential duties are listed below. When necessary, additional duties may be assigned, and P1 Service expects the individual to exercise initiative to anticipate and prevent problems.

    • Assist management in preparing billings on large and small projects.
    • Assist management in preparing billings for service orders and service contracts.
    • Inputs billing invoices.
    • Assist with facility maintenance invoices.
    • Assist with 3rd party billing services inputting invoices.
    • Provide back up for other accounting duties, as needed.

    Required Education and Experience:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 3 years of accounting experience.
    • Proficient in Excel, Outlook and general ledger software.
    Preferred Education and Experience:
    • 5 years of accounting experience.
    • Job costing experience

    • Financial Management.
    • Technical Capacity.
    • Ethical Conduct.
    • Thoroughness.
    • Communication Proficiency.
