    This position will work 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., which will include working every other weekend and every other holiday.

    Cleans all areas of the building and furnishings; transports wastes; carpet cleaning; maintains supplies and performs other related duties as assigned.

    This position is 32 hours per week and will be working in our independent living building, Redwoods.


    QualificationsEducation:
    GED or

    High School Diploma Experience:
    Previous experience in laundry, housekeeping, custodial work, or janitorial work desirable. Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.


    Special knowledge, skills and abilities:
    Must be able to follow written and oral directions and work independently.
    Must have excellent interpersonal skills to relate well with other workers and the residents.
    Must have a basic understanding of chemicals used in housekeeping.
    Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
