Utilize your analytical experience to assist in the analysis and evaluation of human services programs as a Program Analyst 2 T he Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL)
is a fast-paced office providing public services to children and families across the Commonwealth. If you are looking to apply your skills in analysis to help the families of Pennsylvania, then this is the perfect opportunity for you
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Program Analyst 2 for OCDEL, you will manage statistical analysis for the Bureau of Early Intervention Services and Family Supports programs.
This includes reviewing and evaluating the programs to determine their impact on children and families and the extent to which goals are being met.
In this position, you collect and manipulate data sets, produce quantitative and qualitative reports, participate in evaluative research, and offer data-informed approaches to policy and programmatic decision-making.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Telework:
You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.
You are required to report to the Harrisburg office at least once a month and as otherwise directed by your supervisor.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the Forum Building in Harrisburg.During the training period, more frequent days in the office may be required.
Salary:
In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as a Program Analyst 1; or
Two years of analytical experience, one of which includes professional experience in program evaluation and the development of program recommendations, and a bachelor's degree; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
