    We are seeking a motivated and experienced Machine Shop Supervisor to oversee all aspects of production in our dynamic machine shop.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead a team of machinists, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback.
    • Plan and schedule production runs using ERP systems, ensuring on-time delivery.
    • Program CNC equipment (G-code, PartMaker) and operate various machines (mills, lathes) to produce high-quality parts.
    • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and quality issues, implementing solutions for continuous improvement.
    • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and proper use of equipment.
    • Collaborate with engineering and other departments on lean manufacturing initiatives.
    • Conduct inspections to ensure parts meet all quality standards (ISO/FDA).
    • Manage inventory and maintain accurate records.

    Qualifications:

    • Technical Degree in machining or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience as a journey-level machinist or similar role.
    • Strong understanding of manual and CNC machining processes.
    • Proficiency in CNC programming (G-code) and a working knowledge of CAM software (PartMaker).
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to analyze data, identify problems, and implement solutions.
    • Commitment to safety and quality control.
    • Working knowledge of metallurgy and manufacturing materials.
    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (GD&T).
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
    • Proficiency in using production management software (ERP).
