Job summary
Under general supervision of the Animal Facility Manager provides maintenance services in support of the Animal Shelter; to help vaccinate feed and care for shelter animals; and to perform minor repair maintenance and janitorial work on shelter grounds.
Cleans disinfects and sterilizes animal shelter rooms buildings kennels holding areas and grounds Assists with adoptions keeps social media up to date on animals available for adoption Cleans replenishes food water bowls Cleans disinfects sterilizes shelters public bathrooms replaces towels toilette paper Helps vaccinate evaluate animals placed in Shelters adoption rescue center Performs euthanasia properly disposes euthanized animals May retrieve donated food litter large animals load unload trailer store supplies Recognizes animal health problems brings them managers attention Cuts removes weeds surrounding shelter grounds.
