    Job title: System Safety Engineer

    Description

    Job Summary

    This is a System Safety Engineer role that involves evaluating customer requirements and determining vehicle compliance.

    • Evaluate customer needs for system safety to ensure vehicles meet regulatory standards.
    • Conduct thorough system safety analyses to support design solutions and changes, documenting findings and recommendations.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:


    We are seeking individuals with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision. A degree in systems engineering or related field is required, along with minimum 7 years of applicable experience. Proficiency in human factors/ergonomics principles, MIL-STD-882E standard, Cameo software, and Hazard Tracking Systems (HTS) is essential.


    Familiarity with user-centered design philosophy, functional failure analysis, event tree analysis (ETA), fault tree analysis (FTA), military standards MIL-HDBK-764 & MIL-STD1472 as well as government experience will be highly beneficial but not mandatory.
