- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
- Current certification as a dental assistant.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a dental assistant.
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental assisting or related field.
- Experience managing a dental assistant team.
- Experience with dental practice management software.
- Current CPR certification.
- Assist the dentist in all aspects of patient care, including taking and developing dental radiographs, preparing and sterilizing instruments, and providing chairside assistance during procedures.
- Manage the dental assistant team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the dental practice, including managing patient flow, maintaining inventory and ordering supplies, and overseeing the maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Provide exceptional patient care and service, including greeting patients, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information.
