    Description:

    Responsibilities:


    • Conducts viability, growth and purity checks on Mammalian Cell Cultures.


    • Completes laboratory work orders as scheduled.


    • Works under a Quality Management System with strict adherence to Work Instructions/SOPs.


    • Enters in-process data into fillable forms and adheres to proper document entries format and procedures.


    • Determines if Quality Control assay results meet product specifications and compiles results for Certificate of Analysis.


    • Strictly adheres to proper safety procedures in a BSL2 environment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    Qualifications/Experience:


    • Bachelor's degree in a science related field and 3-5 years' experience.


    • Cell culture experience with strong aseptic technique .


    • Experience working in a manufacturing/QC lab for a biotech company or (next best) in a diagnostic lab environment.


    • Attention to detail in lab work with accurate record keeping.


    • Ability to multitask multiple work orders in various stages of completion.

    Experience with mammalian cell culture is a must, along with aseptic technique. Candidate will need to go into the role and need little to no training in mammalian cell culture.
