    Essential Functions and Objectives:

    Works with the communications team, and designated school leaders to implement comprehensive marketing communications plans for a minimum of three high-priority schools. Outlines needs and recommends outcomes for marketing plans and leads the strategic and tactical implementation of these plans. Duties may include research and discovery, development of plans and timelines, content creation, design guidance, budget management, and the day-to-day implementation of communications needs at the school level.

    Provides comprehensive, strategic communications support to designated schools, including branding, marketing collateral development, internal and external school signage, student recruitment and retention strategies, digital communications, newsletter development and distribution, advertising, direct mail, media relations, management of school tour and recruitment events, school calendar management, and more.

    Designs, implements, and manages internal communications at the school level as well as communications between stakeholders and three identified schools; stakeholders may include students, educators, and parents as well as other community members across Denver.

    Collaborates with graphic designers, translators, the marketing team, and other communications team members to ensure consistency in messaging and visual branding for the supported schools across numerous platforms and in multiple languages as needed.

    Acts as primary point of contact and project manager for identified schools, managing timeline, resources and completion for multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining keen attention to detail.

    Knowledge, Experience & Other Qualifications:

    Two (2) or more years experience in stakeholder engagement and outreach to a diverse community.

    Three (3) or more years of comprehensive experience in communications, marketing, public relations, and/or internal communications.

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google products including Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Docs. Google Sheets, Google Slides.

    Exceptional relationship building, strategic-planning, facilitation, and project-management skills necessary to organize a variety of stakeholders around common goals.

    Exceptional written and verbal communications skills as well as experience with tailoring messaging to a variety of audiences, including families for whom English is not their first language.

    Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines within a fast-paced environment.

    Strong attention to detail.

    Works collaboratively with others on a team.

    Solid creative skills to develop messaging and provide guidance on visual concepts that will inspire stakeholders to action.

    Ability and willingness to travel to sites throughout the District as well as maintain flexible hours in order to meet the schedule-related needs of school leaders.

    Basic graphic design, social media, Wordpress, web content, digital advertising, and/or email newsletter platform skills recommended.

    Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
