    Position Summary

    The individual will perform, evaluate, teach and report Human DNA Identity and quality assurance assays, utilizing a specialized knowledge, and technical and analytical skills.

    He/she will complete but will not be limited to the following tasks:
    DNA/RNA extraction, Standard and Real Time PCR, multiplex amplification, genotyping, sequence analyses, and next generation sequencing.

    This position will also perform statistical analysis on DNA test results and provide expert testimony through depositions and courtroom testimony.

    Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Medical Technology, Genetics or other related science with coursework in Biochemistry, Genetics, Molecular Biology, and Statistics and/or Population Statistics

    Molecular biology procedures to included demonstrated knowledge of molecular biology, forensic theory, procedures, techniques statistics and instrumentation used.

    Comprehensive knowledge of scientific theory to perform and evaluate highly complex testing and correlate results.

    Master's degree or equivalent
