    Telemetry Registered Nurse (RNs)

    We are seeking skilled Telemetry RNs to fill an immediate travel nurse position in Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.

    About the Role

    As a TELE Travel Nurse, you will provide critical care by monitoring patients' vital signs using specialized equipment. This includes machines that measure heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, blood-oxygen levels, and electrocardiogram information. The data is then displayed on computer screens for RNs to interpret and make informed decisions about patient care.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide basic bedside care to patients.
    • Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, interpreting and recording electronic displays.
    • Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the appropriate medical team members.
    • Initiate corrective action when information from monitoring equipment indicates adverse symptomatology.
    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you should be able to:

    • Stand and walk for extended periods.
    • Bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
    • Easily lift up to 20 pounds.
    • Have specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
    Certifications and Qualifications

    The following certifications are required: ACLS, BLS, NIH. Two years of recent acute care experience is also necessary. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
