    Modern Mill is seeking a driven Territory Manager to cover Long Island & Connecticut. This role is ideal for a true hunter—someone who thrives on building new business, developing long-term relationships, and growing repeat sales of ACRE by Modern Mill. Candidates must reside in either Long Island & Connecticut and be highly engaged in their local communities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and manage a target and conversion list of dealers, architects, builders, remodelers, contractors, and installers
    • Actively prospect and grow new business while expanding repeat business within the territory
    • Maintain an aggressive end-user call schedule throughout the year to generate product awareness and demand
    • Conduct in-field training and product demonstrations for builders, remodelers, installers, and other end users
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key dealers and their sales representatives
    • Schedule and conduct joint field sales calls with dealer and distributor representatives
    • Train dealer and distributor sales teams on Modern Mill products
    • Respond promptly to end-user questions regarding product availability, applications, and terms
    • Actively assist in resolving customer concerns and support the warranty claims process in collaboration with the Product and Quality teams
    • Participate in local trade shows and cold-call prospective builders, contractors, and architects
    • Generate, track, and coordinate sales opportunities with local dealers and distributors; accurately document all activity in CRM
    • Prepare sales analysis reports and maintain an up-to-date calendar of appointments and activities
    • Keep Modern Mill headquarters informed of key market insights, including competitor activity, customer changes, and regional trends

    Requirements

    • Proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
    • Experience with sales processes, including consultative selling and negotiation
    • Valid driver's license and ability to travel overnight
    • Willingness to travel overnight up to 20%
    • A strong hunter's mentality with a passion for winning new business
    • Self-starter who is also a collaborative team player
    • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
