- Develop and manage a target and conversion list of dealers, architects, builders, remodelers, contractors, and installers
- Actively prospect and grow new business while expanding repeat business within the territory
- Maintain an aggressive end-user call schedule throughout the year to generate product awareness and demand
- Conduct in-field training and product demonstrations for builders, remodelers, installers, and other end users
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key dealers and their sales representatives
- Schedule and conduct joint field sales calls with dealer and distributor representatives
- Train dealer and distributor sales teams on Modern Mill products
- Respond promptly to end-user questions regarding product availability, applications, and terms
- Actively assist in resolving customer concerns and support the warranty claims process in collaboration with the Product and Quality teams
- Participate in local trade shows and cold-call prospective builders, contractors, and architects
- Generate, track, and coordinate sales opportunities with local dealers and distributors; accurately document all activity in CRM
- Prepare sales analysis reports and maintain an up-to-date calendar of appointments and activities
- Keep Modern Mill headquarters informed of key market insights, including competitor activity, customer changes, and regional trends
- Proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Experience with sales processes, including consultative selling and negotiation
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel overnight
- Willingness to travel overnight up to 20%
- A strong hunter's mentality with a passion for winning new business
- Self-starter who is also a collaborative team player
