    Precision Engagement Systems (PES)

    team located in

    Saint Charles, MO .

    Space, Intelligence and Weapon Systems (SIWS)


    organization, Precision Engagement Systems (PES) is a dynamic and growing team with leadership that is focused on attracting and developing top talent in support of critical missions on Direct Attack (DA) and Cruise Missiles Systems (CMS) programs.

    The programs we support in Saint Charles, MO include Direct Attack weapons (JDAM, SDB, MOP, HAAWC and associated derivatives) and Cruise Missiles (SLAM ER, Harpoon and development weapons) utilized on various military aircraft, some ground-based platforms, and other future contract awards.

    Associate, Experienced, or Lead Mechanical System Design and Analysis Engineers .

    In this position you will innovate, develop, maintain and modify structural systems and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.


    Position Responsibilities Include:
    Support the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment

    Support the development, maintenance or modification of system designs/proposals to provide design documentation and high-level requirements to downstream users/customers

    Perform detail design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations

    Perform spatial integration at system or component level and modification of mechanisms/landing gear/ordinance systems

    Assist in preparing technical documents for mechanical components and systems

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Saint Charles, MO.

    This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.

    An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
    Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

    1 or more years' experience in Mechanical Systems design

    1 or more years' experience with 3D modeling, 2D drawings and drawing packages

    1 or more years' engineering experience


    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    Experienced (Level 3): 3 or more years' related engineering work experience or an equivalent combination of education and engineering experience


    Lead (Level 4): 5 or more years' related engineering work experience or an equivalent combination of education and engineering experience

    Experience in applying engineering processes and principles

    Experience/domain knowledge of system architecture, requirements, interface definition, verification, and validation

    Military aircraft, weapons and/or commercial aircraft structures experience

    Experience with systems development and integration

    Experience with Model Based Engineering

    Experience working both independently and in team environments


    Typical Education/Experience:

    Associate (Level 2):
    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g.

    Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.

    Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Experienced (Level 3):
    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g.

    Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.

    PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Lead (Level 4):
    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g.

    Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.

    PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Relocation:
    This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

    Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
    Summary pay range for associate level: $76,500 – $103,500
    Summary pay range for experienced level: $95,200 – $128,800
    Summary pay range for lead level: $115,600 – $156,400
